Next Steps Project 4: Puff Heart Motif

Note: Begin each round in a corner ch2 space with a ch3 which counts as the first tr of the round, for example (ch3, then 2tr, ch2, 3tr) unless stated otherwise.

Each subsequent corner in the ch2 space = (3tr, ch2, 3tr) unless stated otherwise

The Puff stitch = *Yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over pull through* repeat 4 times, 8 loops on the hook, yarn over and pull through all stitches on the hook.

Change colour for each bobble stitch to create definition.

Instructions: Ch5, join to the first ch with slst to form ring. 

Round 1: Into the ring create *1 puff stitch, ch2* repeat from * to * 4 times, join with slst to the first stitch of the round.  FO.

Round 2: Join in any corner ch2 sp, (puff stitch, ch2, puff stitch) to create the corner, repeat from * to * 4times, join with slst to the first stitch of the round.  FO.

Round 3: Join in any corner ch2 sp,*(puff stitch, ch2, puff stitch) to create the corner*, 3tr,  repeat from * to *, into the next spaces create 1 puff stitch, corner, 1 puff stitch, corner, 1 puff stitch, join with slst to the first stitch of the round.  FO.

Round 4: Begin with a *corner, then into each of the next spaces create3tr 2 times*, rep * from * to * join with slst to the first stitch of the round.  FO.

Round 5+: Repeat round 4 add an extra 3tr to each round to make a bigger square.  join with slst to the first stitch of the round.  FO.
