This noble knight crochet pattern uses easy stitches, includes step by step instructions and contains a free base pattern granny square to make up into a beautiful afghan blanket.

Appliqués are fantastic for adding a personal touch to gifts; they are great for embellishing clothing, scarves, bags, blankets, pillows, card making, scrapbooking and much, much more.

*The pattern is written in English, using both UK & US terminology.
*My patterns have step by step written instructions, including photos when necessary.
Skill level: easy.
Stitches: UK - double, half treble treble crochet stitches.  US - single, half double, & double crochet stitches.
Specialist techniques: French knot - full picture instructions included.
Size: all my appliqués work up to being no bigger 5 Inches or 13 cm and are designed to fit on a 6 inch or 15 cm granny square.
Materials: DK yarn in a variety of colours, 4mm or G6 hook, scissors, darning needle and sewing needle.
