Next Steps Project 2: Bobble Heart Motif

Note: Begin each round in a corner ch2 space with a ch3 which counts as the first tr of the round, for example (ch3, then 2tr, ch2, 3tr) unless stated otherwise.

Each subsequent corner in the ch2 space = (3tr, ch2, 3tr) unless stated otherwise

The Bobble stitch = 4 treble crochets into the same stitch completing the last yarn over for each treble together.

Change colour for each bobble stitch to create definition.

Instructions: Ch5, join to the first ch with slst to form ring. 

Round 1: Into the ring ch3, 2tr then ch2, *tr3 then ch2* 3 times, join with slst to the first stitch of the round.  FO.

Round 2: Create 4 corners into each ch2 sp, join with slst to the first stitch of the round.  FO.

Round 3: Begin with a corner, then into each of the next spaces create 1bobble, corner, 3tr,

*into the next corner space create (1bobble, ch2, 1 bobble), 3tr*, rep * from * to * join with slst to the first stitch of the round.  FO.

Round 4: Begin with a corner, then into each of the next spaces create *1bobble, 1bobble, corner*, 3tr, 1 bobble, corner, rep * from * to * 1 bobble, 3tr, join with slst to the first stitch of the round.  FO.

Round 5: Begin with a corner, then into each of the next spaces create 1bobble, 3tr, 1bobble, corner, 3tr, 1 bobble, 3tr, corner, 3tr, 1 bobble, 3tr, corner, 3tr, 1 bobble, 3tr, join with slst to the first stitch of the round.  FO.

Round 6: Begin with a (1bobble, ch2, 1 bobble) into the corner, then into each of the next spaces create 1bobble, 3tr, 3tr, (1bobble, ch2, 1 bobble) into the next corner, 1 bobble, 1 bobble, 3tr, 3tr, corner, 3tr 4times, corner, 3tr, 3tr, 1 bobble, 1 bobble, join with slst to the first stitch of the round.  FO.

Round 7: Begin with a *corner, then into each of the next spaces create3tr 5times*, rep * from * to * join with slst to the first stitch of the round.  FO.

Round 8+: Repeat round 7 add an extra 3tr to each round to make a bigger square.

Round 5: Begin with a corner, then into each of the next spaces create 1bobble, 3dc, 1bobble, corner, 3dc, 1 bobble, 3dc, corner, 3dc, 1 bobble, 3dc, corner, 3dc, 1 bobble, 3dc, join with slst to the first stitch of the round.  FO.

Round 6: Begin with a (1bobble, ch2, 1 bobble) into the corner, then into each of the next spaces create 1bobble, 3dc, 3dc, (1bobble, ch2, 1 bobble) into the next corner, 1 bobble, 1 bobble, 3dc, 3dc, corner, 3dc 4times, corner, 3dc, 3dc, 1 bobble, 1 bobble, join with slst to the first stitch of the round.  FO.

Round 7: Begin with a *corner, then into each of the next spaces create3dc 5times*, rep * from * to * join with slst to the first stitch of the round.  FO.

Round 8+: Repeat round 7 add an extra 3dc to each round to make a bigger square.
